Social purpose

The company aim is to drive significant change in how neurological disorders are detected, diagnosed and managed. The first step in achieving this aim is the manufacture and commercialisation of a unique subscalp EEG brain monitoring system (Epios®), first developed at the Wyss Center of Bio and Neuroengineering and now licensed exclusively to BrainScape Medical. The Epios® device will collect continuous data on the human brain on which we can perform in depth analysis to find biomarkers of brain function and objective measures that will support both patients and clinicians.
